Refund & Cancellation Policy

This page is engineering-authored scaffolding written to satisfy Razorpay’s merchant policy requirements. It will be reviewed by an India-qualified lawyer for DPDP Act 2023, Consumer Protection Act 2019, and IT Act compliance before public launch. The launch gate blocks if any policy is unreviewed.
1. Free placement
The order and the field visit are free. No payment is collected before verification.
2. The rough estimate is not a refundable promise
Declining the verified value before payment costs nothing. The estimate is non-binding by design.
3. Cooling-off after payment
After you pay, you have 24 hours to cancel for a full refund of the price difference, provided procurement has not been locked in our internal queue. This window is admin-tunable.
4. Refund mechanics
Refunds are returned to the original Razorpay payment instrument — we cannot refund to a different account. Typical timeline is 5–7 business days, dependent on the bank and Razorpay. The refund equals the amount actually captured.
5. Defective / dead-on-arrival New Product
If the New Product is dead-on-arrival or materially not-as-described, we will replace or refund per the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. Report within 48 hours of delivery.
6. The Old Device after handover
Once accepted, the Old Device’s title transfers to us; it is typically resold and cannot be returned. Pre-handover, the Old Device remains yours if you cancel. Wipe and unlock before handover — we are not liable for residual personal data.
7. Valuation disputes
If you dispute the Verified Value, decline before paying — there is no charge. The ±10% guardrail and the logged reason for any adjustment are auditable. Escalation goes to the Grievance Officer.
8. Failed or duplicate payments
Auto-reconciled against the signature-verified Razorpay webhook. Duplicates are auto-refunded.
9. No-show / access-refusal
If you are unreachable or refuse agent entry, the order is cancelled at no charge.
